Privacy policy.
How we handle the data you leave through the website: what, why, for how long and with which rights.
1. Data controller
The controller of the personal data collected through this website is Andrea Cantore, as an individual, who is promoting the SAITEKO (Specialised AI Technologies) project until the company is incorporated. For any privacy request you can write to info@saiteko.it.
Once the company is incorporated, it will become the controller and this policy will be updated with its details.
2. What data we process
- Browsing data. The hosting provider automatically logs technical data such as IP address, date and time of the request, page visited and browser type. It is needed for the website to work and stay secure.
- Contact form: first name, last name, organisation, role, email, country, topic and message.
- Book a call: information about the company (name, country, sector, revenue band, size, website), about the need and the project (including the indicative budget), contact details (full name, role, work email, optional phone) and preferred language.
- AI assessment: your answers to the questionnaire and your contact details, only if you choose to send them. The indications and the calculator run in your browser and are not sent to us.
- TEKO-01, the site assistant: conversations are not saved and are lost when you close or reload the page. If you choose to leave your name and email, with your consent, we receive them together with the last questions typed in the chat.
We do not collect special category data (for example health data) and ask you not to enter it in free text fields.
3. Why we process it and on what basis
- To answer your requests and arrange a call or a proposal, including the confirmation email with a summary of what you sent us: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract (Article 6(1)(b) GDPR and UK GDPR).
- To contact you after a conversation with TEKO-01: your consent (Article 6(1)(a)), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Security and operation of the website, including protection against form abuse: our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)).
We do not use your data for marketing, profiling or automated decision-making, and we do not sell it.
4. Do you have to provide your data?
No. Fields marked as required are needed to handle your request: without them we cannot deal with it. You can always write to us directly at info@saiteko.it.
5. Who we entrust it to
Data is processed by our team and by providers acting as processors, under agreements that oblige them to protect it:
- Vercel Inc.: website hosting and the functions that receive the forms. The website does not store requests in a database.
- Google (Google Workspace): email. Requests reach us as emails in the info@saiteko.it mailbox.
- Anthropic: only if TEKO-01's AI answers are switched on. In that case the questions typed in the chat are sent to the model to generate the answer, without being stored by the website.
If a project requires it, some data may be shared with technology partners and specialists involved, only under a data processing agreement.
6. Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers may also process data outside the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom, for example in the United States. In those cases the transfer relies on the safeguards required by law, such as the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission and, where applicable, the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and its UK Extension.
7. How long we keep it
- Requests from the forms and the chat: for as long as needed to handle them and, if a working relationship starts, for its duration. If no relationship starts, we delete them within 24 months of the last contact.
- Conversations with TEKO-01: not stored.
- Browsing data: for a limited period, according to the hosting provider's settings.
8. Your rights
At any time you can ask for access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing and portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest or withdraw your consent. Write to info@saiteko.it: we reply within one month.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority: in Italy the Garante per la protezione dei dati personali (garanteprivacy.it), in the United Kingdom the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
9. Changes
We will update this policy if the services we use or the processing change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
